Receive a $1,000 HIVE Lender Credit applied directly toward your eligible closing costs at settlement.
This isn't a rebate. This isn't a coupon. This isn't something you earn later. It's a genuine $1,000 gift from HIVE Lending Partners, helping you keep more money in your pocket when purchasing your home.
A FREE 1-year rate buydown
HIVE is also giving eligible homebuyers a FREE 1-year temporary interest rate buydown on qualifying loan programs. A temporary rate buydown reduces your mortgage payment by lowering your interest rate by a full 1% during your first year of homeownership.
Typically, this is an option borrowers purchase out of their own pocket at closing. Not during this campaign. During our Back to School Give Back event, we're giving this valuable benefit to qualifying borrowers FREE on eligible loan programs.
That means lower monthly mortgage payments for your entire first year of homeownership — giving you extra financial breathing room while you settle into your new home.
The 1-year temporary rate buydown is available on qualifying loan programs and is subject to investor guidelines. Your HIVE Mortgage Advisor will review your options and determine eligibility.
But we didn't stop there…
Helping you buy a home is just the beginning. We wanted this campaign to leave every school and educational organization just a little better than we found it.
That's why, at the time of closing, Ron & Kristen, owners of HIVE Lending Partners, will donate $250 to the participating employee's school or educational organization of choice.
For teachers, this donation can be used toward classroom supplies or other classroom needs. For all other schools, departments, or educational organizations, the funds may be used wherever they're needed most. Because every school — and every role within it — has unique needs, we want each donation to make the biggest impact possible.
Partnering with local Realtors to give even more
We're inviting local Realtors to join us in making an even bigger impact. When a participating Realtor partners with HIVE on this campaign, they'll match our $250 donation, bringing the total gift to $500 for your school or educational organization.
Together, we can make an even greater difference for the people who dedicate themselves to educating, supporting, and inspiring the next generation.

Program details
Apply between August 1, 2026 and September 30, 2026, and you'll have up to six (6) months from your application date to purchase a home and receive your $1,000 HIVE Lender Credit, your FREE 1-year rate buydown (on eligible loan programs), and your $250 donation to your school or educational organization of choice at closing ($500 when purchasing with a participating HIVE Realtor partner).
Borrowers must qualify for financing through HIVE Lending Partners.
The $1,000 HIVE Lender Credit is available regardless of loan program and may be applied toward eligible closing costs, provided the borrower otherwise qualifies for the promotion.
The FREE 1-year rate buydown is available on eligible loan programs, subject to applicable investor guidelines.
School donations are made at the time of closing on eligible loans financed through HIVE Lending Partners.
This promotion cannot be combined with any other HIVE promotional offers unless otherwise approved.
